Mengatasi Tantangan dalam Bimbingan dan Konseling di-Era Digital pada Sekolah Menengah Atas

Abstract


Technology in the digital era brings very significant changes that can be seen from various aspects of life, including in guidance and counseling services that exist in schools, because not all schools or students have the same access to technology or adequate internet with this can create gaps in receiving guidance and counseling services. Although technology offers enormous opportunities to increase the effectiveness and reach of guidance and counseling services, it also raises new challenges that need to be overcome. This study aims to identify and analyze the main challenges in the provision of guidance and counseling services in high schools.  The objectives to be discussed in this study include access gaps, privacy and data security, counselor competencies, interactions and relationships, counselor ethics and professionalism. This research uses a library research approach by looking for previous research, through articles or journals that support this research. In the digital age, Guidance and Counseling (BK) services in high schools face significant challenges. These include limited digital infrastructure among students and teachers, low digital literacy among educators, and difficulties in building strong interpersonal relationships through online media.
