Abstract

The role of parents in educating children in a household is very important because it is in the household that a child initially gets guidance. The task of parents is as the primary and first teacher or educator for their children in fostering and developing character for their children. The character building of the child must be started as early as possible even when the child is still in the womb. Instilling good character values in children from an early age will make them strong, responsible, honest, independent, polite, and behave in accordance with Islamic teachings and have a good personality and good morals.
