Metode Pendidikan Akhlak Menurut Imam Al- Ghazali Dalam Buku Ihya Ulumiddin

Abstract


The Seeing that there are still many people whose morals are damaged as the problem contained in this study, as well as what is happening in this day and age. Imam Al-Ghazali has made a great history towards education, especially in Islamic education. Through his greatest work throughout history: Ihya Ulumiddin has made an extraordinary contribution to the world of education. one of the concepts offered by Imam Al-Ghazali in the work is the concept of moral education along with moral education methods. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the urgency of the method in general and to find out the stages of moral education methods according to Imam Al-Ghazali. This research is library research or research (library research) the method used is descriptive method, to obtain the data needed in this research, researchers use data sources, namely: primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the method has a very decisive urgency in the success of the formation of noble morals. the function of the method is very decisive for success both in activities and activities. And as for the method of moral education according to Imam Al-Ghazali, it has several stages, namely: takhalli, tahalli and tajalli. At the takhalli stage it can be done with: lecture method, question and answer method, story method and advice method. And at the tahalli stage it can be done with: exemplary methods, training methods and repetition. If humans are already at the tajalli stage, all their deeds are solely because of their love for Allah SWT, and this can be done with the habituation method.
