Penerapan Media Video Animasi Meningkatkan Hasl Belajar Siswa Pada Pelajaran Matematika Kelas II Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics in Grade II at SD Negeri 200515 Padangsidimpuan. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the application of animated video media could improve students' learning outcomes in the subject of mathematics, specifically on addition operations, in Grade II at SD Negeri 200515 Padangsidimpuan. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The instruments used were observation and multiple-choice tests. The subjects of this study were 27 students from Grade II at SD Negeri 200515 Padangsidimpuan. The results of the study showed that students' learning outcomes improved through the application of video media. The findings indicated an increase in students' learning outcomes. In the pretest, the percentage of students' mastery was 22.22% (6 out of 27 students) with an average score of 50.55. In Cycle I, Meeting I, the mastery increased to 37.03% (10 students) with an average score of 69.25, and in Cycle I, Meeting II, it rose to 55.55% (15 students) with an average score of 79.07. In Cycle II, Meeting I, the mastery reached 77.77% (21 students) with an average score of 84.62, and in Cycle II, Meeting II, the mastery reached 92.59% (25 students) with an average score of 90.74. Since the mastery target had been achieved, the research was concluded at Cycle II, Meeting II.
