Meningkatkan Kognitif Siswa Melalui Problem Based learning Berbantuan Wordwall Pada Materi Kimia Hijau
Abstract
This study aims to improve the cognitive of class X-1 students at MAN 2 Padang Lawas through Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method supported by Wordwall application on Green Chemistry material. The research subjects consisted of 31 students, consisting of 13 male and 18 female students, using pretest and posttest test methods to measure students' understanding. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes between cycle I and cycle II, with the average final posttest score reaching 80.85%. The use of Wordwall media proved effective in creating an interactive and engaging learning environment, as well as being able to increase students' interest and motivation in understanding the subject matter. It was found that most students were able to meet the minimum competency standards (KKM) in learning chemistry individually and in groups, which indicates that problem-based learning can improve overall student learning outcomes. This research contributes ito the development of innovative learning methods to iimprove the quality of ieducation at the secondary school level.
