The Journal of Sharia Banking is a journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business at the State Islamic University Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan. The journal was established in 2020 and is published twice a year, in June and December. However, the journal is currently in the process of obtaining an E-ISSN, so its management is now handled through OJS. Authors are encouraged to submit articles to the journal after first reviewing the article template. The journal focuses on topics related to Islamic banking, banking organizations and leadership, and Islamic economics. The editorial board invites experts and academics to submit manuscripts, whether research findings or in-depth studies, in line with the journal's scope. Submitted manuscripts must be original (non-plagiarized) and have not been published elsewhere. Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism, so the journal can be accepted after being checked on Turnitin. GUIDELINES FOR WRITING AND SUBMITTING MANUSCRIPTS

  1. The article manuscript is the author's original scientific work, not plagiarism or self-plagiarism.

  2. The articles are the result of research or scientific studies in the fields of Islamic banking, banking organizations and leadership, and Islamic economics.

  3. Articles may be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic.

  4. The article manuscript must use the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI) and consistently follow the rules for writing scientific papers as stipulated using the Mendeley or Zotero application in the bibliography.

 

THE STRUCTURE OF THE ARTICLE IS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Title; Must be stated clearly.

  2. Author's name (without academic title).

  3. Author Identity (institution/affiliation/place of work and e-mail).

  4. Abstract (Indonesian and English/Arabic) maximum 250 words; Objectives, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions.

  5. Keywords (3–5 words/phrases);

  6. Introduction; This section should include articles that can be used as a theoretical basis. 

  7. The journal consists of: Introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusions.

  8. Conclusions.

  9. References
    1. The article manuscript is typed in Palatino Linotype 11 font, 1.5 spacing, with a minimum length of 14 pages and a maximum of 20 pages.
    2. Articles submitted online must be accompanied by a soft copy and a brief author biography (including at least the author's full name, position, address, place of work, field of expertise, contact number, email address, and education (bachelor's, master's, doctorate).
    3. Reviews of the content of the manuscript are conducted by reviewers or peer reviewers, while reviews of the technical aspects of the writing are conducted by editors.
    4. Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on recommendations from editors/reviewers/peer reviewers.

12. Manuscripts/articles that are not published will not be returned, unless requested by the author concerned.

13. Citations using Mendeley should use the Zotero/Mendeley style with the Cite Them Right 10th Edition-Harvard format. Both systems serve as references for citations and must still adhere to the formatting guidelines established by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan.
