GUIDELINE WRITING FOR
STUDI MULTIDISIPLINER: JURNAL KAJIAN KEISLAMAN
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WRITING MANUSCRIPT
- The manuscript has never been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism with a written statement from the author.
- The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English and Arabic with 1.0 line spacing density, Arial Unicode MS 12 font, A4 paper size, 4 cm top margin, 3 cm bottom, 4 cm left, and 3 cm right, and Times New Arabic (for words / Arabic)
- The length of the script is 3500-7000 words (about until 15-20 pages), including pictures, graph/table (if any), and the accompanying bibliography.
- The manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract (150-200 words) in English, Arabic, Indonesian, and keywords (4-6 words).
- The manuscript was sent via the Studi Multidisipliner Journal online submission with the address http://jurnal.iain-padangsidimpuan.ac.id/index.php/multd/user/register
- All manuscripts that enter the editorial will go through a blind review process by the peer reviewer after the editorial review. The published manuscript will be edited again by the editor without changing the substance of the content.
STRUCTURE OF SCIENTIFIC DATE
1. Title
The title should be concise, effective and informative, with 12 words, including conjunctions. Font Arial Unicode MS 14 font bolded, with a spacing of 1.0 spaces.
2. Author's Identity
Articles accompanied by an author's identity include the author's name without an academic degree (Font Arial Unicode MS 12 bolded), author’s institutional affiliation, agency address, and e-mail (Arial Unicode MS 12, no bolded 1.5 spaces). Student institutional affiliation follows the place where the person concerned is studying. The author's name and the order of the authors (if more than one author) must be agreed upon by all authors, usually based on the amount of contribution and participation in conducting research and report writing, and all authors are responsible for the content of the article.
3. Abstract
The abstract is concise and factual, covering research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Abstract written in English, Arabic and Indonesian, abstract lengths range from 150 - 200 words in one paragraph, Arial Unicode MS 11 font 1.0 spaces.
4. Keywords
Keywords consist of 4-6 words and / or groups of words. Words typed in italics (italic), between keywords separated by colons (:)
5. Introduction
INTRODUCTION Capital letters are written 1.5 spaces apart and bolded. The introduction should contain the background of the problem, hypothesis (if any), objectives, and research methods; generally, the article is not too extensive, about two pages 1.0 spaces; the introduction refers to several libraries that form the basis of the theory or reason for the research.
6. Results and Discussion
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION written in capital letters, spaced 1.5 spacing, and bolded.
The presentation in the results and discussion are written systemically, and only the data/information results are related to the research objectives; simplify tables and use open tables,
and map images are more focused on the object under study and not too large and complicated file sizes (attempted in JPG format); tables and figures are numbered sequentially. Example of writing a table: Table 3.
The use of subtitles in the discussion is in accordance with the purposes of the discussion.
The reference citation source technique uses footnotes, using the chicago manual of Style 17th edition (full note) citation system of Arial Unicode MS 10 fonts; see the examples in the technical terms for writing footnotes.
7. Closing
CONCLUDING capital letters, 1.5 spaces, and bold. The conclusion should be the research question’s answer, not expressed in a statistical sentence.
8. Acknowledgments
If there are ACKNOWLEDGMENTS, uppercase letters are written, 1.5 spaces apart and bolded
Contains a thank you to the funding agency
and / or individuals who have assisted in conducting research and writing articles.
9. Reference List
LIST OF REFERRALS are written in the middle with capital letters, spaced 1.5 spacing and bolded.
The literature in the bibliography only contains sources referenced or cited in the article.
Reference sources referred to in the article should refer to one or several scientific journal articles.
Articles should refer to or quote one or more Studi Multidisipliner Journal articles.
The technique of writing a bibliography, using the citation system Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note) font Arial Unicode MS 10.
Writing a Reference List should use a management application references like Mendeley, Zotero, or others.
