2. General Manuscript Requirements
Authors must comply with the following requirements:
-
Language: Manuscripts must be written in academic English with clarity, accuracy, and coherence.
-
Font and Formatting: Manuscripts must use Book Antiqua, 11-point font, 1.5-line spacing, and a single-column layout.

Similarity Check: The similarity index must not exceed 25%, subject to editorial assessment. A similarity score alone does not determine whether plagiarism has occurred.
-
Research Ethics: Authors must comply with applicable research ethics requirements. Ethical approval and informed consent must be obtained and reported where applicable.
-
Citation Practice: All ideas, data, quotations, and findings taken from other sources must be properly acknowledged using the journal's required citation style.
3. Manuscript Structure
3.1 Title Page
The title page must include:
-
Article title that is concise, specific, and descriptive.
-
Full names of all authors without academic or professional titles.
-
Institutional affiliations and countries.
-
Email addresses of the authors and identification of the corresponding author.
-
ORCID iDs, where available.
The title should accurately represent the principal subject and focus of the manuscript.
3.2 Abstract and Keywords
The manuscript must include an abstract in English and an Indonesian abstract.
Each abstract must contain no more than 200 words and should summarize the purpose of the study or article, the research method or analytical approach, the principal findings or arguments, and the conclusion.
For conceptual and literature-based articles, the abstract should summarize the article's purpose, central argument, analytical approach, main insights, and conclusion.
Authors must provide five keywords representing the main concepts of the manuscript. Keywords should be separated by semicolons.
3.3 Structure of Research Articles
Research articles should follow the structure below:
a. Introduction
The introduction should present the research background, problem, significance, relevant theoretical foundations, and research gap. Authors should discuss relevant previous studies and explain the novelty or contribution of the research. Research objectives, questions, or hypotheses should be stated where appropriate.
b. Method
The method section should describe the research design, setting, participants or data sources, population and sample where applicable, research instruments, data-collection procedures, and data-analysis techniques. Ethical approval and informed-consent procedures should also be reported where applicable.
c. Results and Discussion
The results section should present the findings objectively and clearly, using tables, figures, or other representations where appropriate. The discussion should interpret the findings in relation to the research questions, theoretical framework, and previous studies. Authors should explain the implications of the findings and discuss relevant similarities, differences, and limitations.
d. Conclusion
The conclusion should address the research objectives and summarize the principal findings and contributions. It should not introduce unsupported claims, repeat the abstract, or merely list the results. Recommendations may be included when supported by the findings.
e. References
All sources cited in the article must be listed in the reference section and formatted according to APA style.
3.4 Structure of Conceptual and Literature-Based Articles
Conceptual and literature-based articles should follow a logical structure appropriate to their purpose.
a. Introduction
The introduction should establish the topic, explain its significance, identify the central issue or theoretical problem, and state the purpose and contribution of the article.
b. Discussion
The discussion should develop the central argument or conceptual analysis using relevant theories and scholarly literature. Authors should critically examine previous studies, compare perspectives, and synthesize relevant ideas rather than merely summarize individual sources.
For systematic reviews, authors should describe the review methodology, including the literature search, selection criteria, and analytical procedures, as appropriate.
c. Conclusion
The conclusion should summarize the principal arguments, theoretical contributions, and practical implications where relevant. It may identify issues for further research.
d. References
All sources cited in the article must be included in the reference list and formatted according to APA style.
4. Citation and Referencing Style
The journal requires authors to follow the APA referencing style consistently.
Examples of in-text citations:
-
Parenthetical citation: (Smith, 2021).
-
Two authors: (Jones & Lee, 2022).
-
Narrative citation: Smith (2021) argues that language learning involves social interaction.
Example of a reference-list entry:
Jones, R., & Lee, A. (2022). Critical discourse in classroom contexts. Routledge.
Authors are encouraged to use reference-management software such as Zotero or Mendeley to maintain accuracy and consistency. All references must be verifiable, and DOI information should be included when available.
Footnotes should be used only for supplementary explanations when necessary and should not replace standard citations and references.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be considered for peer review in accordance with the journal's peer-review policy. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
The editorial board retains the right to return manuscripts for technical correction or reject submissions that do not meet the journal's requirements.
7. Article Processing Charges (APC)
Any article processing charges, submission fees, or publication fees applicable to the journal will be stated on the journal's official website.

8. Plagiarism and Publication Ethics
The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, or other forms of research misconduct.
Submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection software. The similarity index must not exceed 25%, subject to editorial assessment and consideration of the nature of the matched text.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts acknowledge all sources appropriately and comply with the journal's publication ethics, authorship, and research ethics policies.
The editorial board may request clarification or supporting documentation and may reject a manuscript when ethical or academic integrity requirements are not met.
