Forum Paedagogik, a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan, Indonesia, is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content.

Forum Paedagogik supports digital preservation through distributed archiving systems, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) approach, to safeguard published articles against data loss, technological disruptions, and potential discontinuation of journal publication.

The journal recognizes the importance of the PKP Preservation Network, which provides decentralized preservation services for eligible journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). Participation in this network is subject to the journal's registration, eligibility, and successful activation of the preservation service.

In addition, authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal academic repositories, subject-specific repositories, and other recognized open-access archives, provided that such activities comply with Forum Paedagogik's Open Access Policy and Copyright and Licensing Policy.

Through these digital archiving and self-archiving practices, Forum Paedagogik aims to support the sustainability of scholarly communication, preserve the academic record, and ensure the continued accessibility of research publications for researchers, educators, students, and the wider academic community.
