Article Processing Charges (APC)

Author Fees

LAVOISIER: Chemistry Education Journal is committed to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing, editorial integrity, and open access to scientific research, particularly in the field of chemistry education.

The journal applies the following publication fee policy:

1. Article Submission Fee

IDR 0.00 (Free of Charge)

Authors are not required to pay any fees for manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, or peer-review evaluation.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

IDR 300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Indonesian Rupiah)

Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 300,000 only after their manuscripts have been officially accepted for publication in LAVOISIER: Chemistry Education Journal.

This fee supports the journal's editorial and publication processes, including manuscript processing, article formatting, online publication, website maintenance, and the dissemination of scholarly research.

The APC does not influence editorial decisions. All submitted manuscripts undergo an independent peer-review process based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.

3. Additional Services

Additional charges may apply for optional professional services, such as proofreading, language editing, translation, or specialized manuscript formatting.

Where these services are provided by independent third parties, their use is voluntary. Any arrangements and payments are the responsibility of the authors and the respective service providers.

These additional charges are separate from the official APC paid for publication in the journal.

4. Payment Policy

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has received an official acceptance notification from the editorial team.

Payment instructions will be communicated to the corresponding author through the journal's official communication channels.

No APC will be charged for manuscripts rejected during the editorial screening or peer-review process.

5. Open Access Policy

All articles published in LAVOISIER: Chemistry Education Journal are freely accessible to readers immediately upon publication, supporting the dissemination of scientific knowledge and research findings in chemistry education.
