Abstract

Digital transformation in the financial sector has encouraged the development of technology-based Islamic banking services in Indonesia. The integration of Islamic financial technology (Islamic fintech) has become one of the key strategies for improving service quality, transaction efficiency, and customer trust, particularly among Generation Z, who are highly familiar with digital technology. This study aims to analyze the digital transformation of Islamic banking through the integration of Islamic fintech and its impact on enhancing the trust of Generation Z customers.
This study employs a qualitative method with a normative approach and library research by analyzing journals, books, regulations, and fatwas related to Islamic fintech and digital banking. The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic fintech has improved service accessibility, transaction transparency, digital security, and operational efficiency, which positively influence Generation Z's trust in Islamic banks. Nevertheless, challenges such as data security, digital literacy, and regulatory adaptation remain significant obstacles to optimizing Islamic digital services. Therefore, continuous innovation, enhanced system security, and the promotion of Islamic digital literacy are essential to ensure the optimal implementation of digital transformation in Islamic banking.
