Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan

Abstract


This research aims to improve the civics learning outcomes of fifth grade students through the application of the discovery learning learning model. This research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation or evaluation and reflection stages carried out in each cycle. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation, interviews and learning outcomes tests. Data obtained through observation and interview methods were analyzed using descriptive-qualitative techniques, while data obtained through learning outcomes tests were analyzed using descriptive-quantitative techniques. The results of this research show an average increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II of 9.2%. The increase in classical completeness from cycle I to cycle II was 33.4%. The obstacle faced in implementing the discovery learning model is that students are not yet familiar with the application of the discovery learning model so it is very difficult for teachers to explore student responses. The solution is to provide the problem at the beginning of the meeting so that students read and find solutions to the problem themselves in the books or learning resources they have.
