Pendidikan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus di Era Digital: Peluang dan Hambatan

Abstract


This study aims to examine the opportunities and obstacles in the education of children with special needs (ABK) in the digital era. Along with the rapid development of information technology, the use of digital tools and media has become one way to improve the quality of learning for ABK. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach in an inclusive school that implements technology in the learning process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, parents, and other related parties, as well as direct observation of the use of technology in the classroom. The results of the study indicate that digital technology provides opportunities for ABK to learn more independently and adaptively, such as the use of special applications that support their motor and social skills. However, there are significant obstacles, including limited access to adequate technological devices, lack of training for educators, and challenges in adapting digital content to the individual needs of ABK. This study suggests the need for policy development and more intensive training to support the effective implementation of technology in ABK education, as well as increasing access to digital resources that can facilitate their learning process
