SOP for Manuscript Management
At least two reviewers independently review each manuscript submitted to the Pedagogic Forum in the form of a "double-blind peer review". The decision to accept, accept revisions, or reject is based on their reports/recommendations. In some cases, the editor may submit the article for review by another third reviewer prior to making a decision, if necessary.

Plagiarism Policy
Authors only need to submit manuscripts that are free from plagiarism and academic malpractice. However, editors double-check each article before publication. The first step is to check plagiarism against an offline database developed by the Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary State Islamic University (UIN) Padangsidimpuan, Indonesia. Second, against as many online databases as possible.

Review Guidelines for Reviewers
Peer Reviewer Responsibilities
Peer reviewers are tasked with providing criticism by reading and evaluating manuscripts according to their field of expertise, then providing constructive suggestions and honest input to the authors of the submitted articles. Peer reviewers discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the article, how to improve the strengths and quality of the paper, and evaluate the relevance and originality of the manuscript.
Before reviewing, please note the following:
Does the article you have been asked to review match your expertise? If you receive a manuscript that covers a topic that is not in your area of expertise, please notify the editor as soon as possible. Please recommend alternative reviewers.
Do you have time to review this paper? The review process must be completed within two weeks. If you agree and require a longer period of time, notify the editor as soon as possible, or suggest an alternative reviewer.
Is there a potential conflict of interest? Meanwhile, conflicts of interest will not disqualify you as a reviewer, disclose all conflicts of interest to the editor before reviewing. If you have questions regarding potential conflicts of interest, please do not hesitate to contact the editorial office.
Review Process
When reviewing the article, please consider the following:
Title: does the article describe it clearly?
Abstract: does it reflect the content of the article?
Introduction: does it describe the accuracy of the material presented by the author and clearly state the issue being considered? Typically, the introduction should summarize the relevant research context, and explain the research findings or other findings, if any, that are offered for discussion. This research must explain the experiment, hypothesis and methods.
Article Contents
To determine the originality and suitability of the journal, is there an element of plagiarism in this paper? A quick literature search can use certain tools such as Scopus to see if there are similarities from other parts.
If the research has previously been conducted by another author, does the research still meet the requirements for publication?
Is the article new, in-depth and interesting enough to publish?
does it contribute to knowledge?
Does the article meet the journal's standards?
Scope – Does the article fit the aims and scope of the journal?
Research methods
Comprehensive and perfect:
did the author accurately explain how the data was collected?
Is the theoretical basis or reference used appropriate for this research?
is the exposure design suitable to answer the question?
is there a new method? If there is a new method, does the author explain it in detail?
was there proper sampling?
Are the tools and materials used adequately explained? And
whether the presentation of the article reflects the type of data recorded; accurate in explaining measurements?
Research Findings and Discussion.
This is where the author must explain the findings in his research. It should be structured clearly and in a logical order. You need to consider whether appropriate analysis has been carried out.
are the claims in this section supported by fair and reasonable results?
Does the author compare the results of his research with other previous studies?
Do the research results written in the article contradict previous theories?
Conclusion
This should show the findings clearly. The advantages and disadvantages of the article's findings are also explained, as well as possible research developments.

Tables and Figures:
Is the explanation in question appropriate and displays data that is easy for readers to interpret and understand?
Writing Style
Authors must be critical of systematic reviews of literature on issues relevant to their field of study.
Reviews should focus on one topic.
All presentations must be in English and written in a grammatically sound and coherent manner.
Easy to understand
Interesting to read
Originality Research.
Original and test data, should present data that offers new approaches to improve systems, processes and the precision of the tools used.
Observational research and analysis policies must clarify the feasibility, effectiveness and implementation of research results.
In Practice (case study), this paper must explain the situation regarding future challenges in Islamic Theory, Islamic Education, Islamic Law, and Islamic Economics.

Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines
The publication of articles in the peer-reviewed Educationist Journal is an important foundation in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the author's work and the institutions that support it. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree on standards of ethical behavior that are expected for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and the public.

We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints or additional commercial revenue do not impact or influence editorial decisions. Apart from that, the PPG Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan and the Editorial Board will assist with communication with other journals and publishers if useful and necessary.
Publication decisions
Educationist Journal editors are responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published.
