DARUL ILMI: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman is committed to providing open access to high-quality scientific research, particularly in the fields of Islamic education, educational sciences, and Islamic studies.

To support the sustainability of journal management and maintain the quality of scholarly publications, DARUL ILMI: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman establishes an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Indonesian Rupiah) for each article processed in accordance with the journal's publication policies.

This fee contributes to the costs associated with manuscript management and publication, including peer-review administration, manuscript editing, formatting and layout preparation, electronic publication, and digital archiving.

Through the payment of this fee, authors contribute to the sustainability of journal operations, the maintenance of high academic standards, and the wider dissemination of scientific research to the academic community.

The Article Processing Charge does not influence the independence of editorial decisions. Every submitted manuscript is evaluated based on its scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and recommendations from peer reviewers.

All published articles are freely accessible to readers without subscription fees or access charges.

A. Article Processing Charge (APC) Payment Procedures

Payment of the Article Processing Charge for DARUL ILMI: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman is conducted according to the following procedures.

1. Payment Through the Official Bank Account

Authors must make payments to the official bank account specified in the invoice sent by the journal's management team via email.

Authors are advised to ensure that the bank account information and payment amount correspond to the details stated in the official invoice issued by the journal.

2. APC Payment in Two Stages

The Article Processing Charge is paid in two stages, subject to the following conditions.

First Stage: 60% Payment During the Peer-Review Stage

Authors are required to pay 60% of the total APC, equivalent to IDR 180,000 (One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Indonesian Rupiah), after their manuscripts have successfully passed the initial editorial screening and entered the peer-review stage.

The first-stage payment is used to support the administration and management of the manuscript review process.

Important Condition: If the manuscript is rejected following editorial evaluation and peer-review recommendations, the first-stage payment of IDR 180,000 is non-refundable, as the administrative and peer-review processes have already been carried out.

Second Stage: 40% Payment After Manuscript Acceptance

Authors are required to pay the remaining 40% of the total APC, equivalent to IDR 120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Indonesian Rupiah), after the manuscript has been officially accepted and is ready to enter the publication preparation stage.

The second-stage payment supports final manuscript editing, layout preparation, electronic publication, and digital archiving.

Important Condition: If the author has not completed the remaining 40% payment, the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will not be issued, and the article will not proceed to publication until the outstanding payment has been settled.

The scientific decision regarding manuscript acceptance remains independent and is determined solely through the editorial assessment and peer-review process.

3. Payment Confirmation

After completing each payment stage, authors must fill out the payment confirmation form through the official URL provided by the journal's management team via email together with the invoice.

Authors are expected to:

1. Ensure that the payment has been made in accordance with the specified amount.

2. Retain proof of payment.

3. Complete the payment confirmation form through the official link.

4. Attach proof of bank transfer if requested by the journal's management team.

5. Check their email regularly for information regarding payment verification and subsequent publication procedures.

The journal's administrative team will verify the payment before proceeding with the next stage of publication administration.

The first-stage payment, which supports administrative and peer-review activities, is generally non-refundable if the manuscript is rejected after the peer-review process has been conducted.

If an author requests manuscript withdrawal, the request will be processed in accordance with the Article Withdrawal Policy of DARUL ILMI: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman.

Requests for refunds arising from transaction errors, duplicate payments, or administrative errors made by the journal's management team will be evaluated separately based on the available payment evidence and relevant circumstances.

D. Transparency and Editorial Independence

Payment of the Article Processing Charge does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication.

All submitted manuscripts remain subject to editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal's academic standards and publication ethics policies.

Decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection are based entirely on scientific quality and peer-review recommendations, not on payments made by authors.
