As a peer-reviewed academic journal publishing research in Islamic education, educational sciences, and Islamic studies, the journal recognizes its responsibility to ensure that published articles remain scientifically reliable and ethically accountable.

The journal places great importance on the credibility and permanence of scholarly publications. Any changes to articles after publication must be made transparently, responsibly, and in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics standards.

This policy is guided by the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), particularly the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Post-publication actions may include corrections, errata, corrigenda, publisher's notes, expressions of concern, retractions, or, in exceptional circumstances, article removal.

1. Correction and Erratum

A correction is issued when an error or omission is identified in a published article but does not fundamentally invalidate the reliability of its findings or conclusions.

An Erratum is a formal notice identifying and correcting errors or omissions in a previously published article.

Corrections may be necessary in cases involving:

1. Errors in numerical data, tables, figures, or statistical reporting that do not invalidate the principal findings.

2. Inaccuracies in citations, references, or supplementary information.

3. Errors in research descriptions or methodological explanations that require clarification.

4. Omissions in acknowledgments, funding information, or conflict-of-interest declarations.

5. Other inaccuracies that may affect the interpretation or clarity of the published article without substantially compromising its scientific conclusions.

Authors who identify errors in their published articles must promptly notify the editorial office and provide a clear explanation of the errors and the proposed corrections.

The editorial team will evaluate the significance of the errors and determine whether a formal correction notice is necessary.

When a correction is issued:

• The correction notice will clearly identify the original article.

• The nature of the error and the corresponding correction will be explained.

• Any implications for the findings or conclusions will be stated.

• The correction notice will be freely accessible to readers.

• The correction notice and the original article will be linked to each other whenever technically possible.

• The original publication record will be preserved, and any updated version will be clearly identified.

Corrections are intended to improve the accuracy and reliability of published research without unnecessarily disrupting the scholarly record.

2. Corrigendum

A Corrigendum is a correction notice addressing an error or omission in a published article that is attributable to the author or authors.

A corrigendum may be issued when authors identify inaccuracies relating to data presentation, methodological descriptions, references, acknowledgments, or other aspects of the manuscript that require clarification.

Authors requesting a corrigendum must submit a written explanation to the editorial office identifying:

1. The title and publication details of the original article.

2. The specific error or omission requiring correction.

3. The proposed corrected information.

4. The potential implications of the correction for the research findings and conclusions.

The editorial team will assess whether the proposed correction is scientifically justified and whether additional expert evaluation is necessary.

If approved, the corrigendum will be published as a separate, identifiable notice and linked to the original article.
