ARTICLE WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Hata Poda Journal

Hata Poda Journal is committed to maintaining publication ethics, editorial integrity, and transparency throughout the manuscript submission, peer-review, and publication processes. Authors are therefore expected to submit manuscripts only when they are ready for editorial consideration and to comply with the journal's publication policies.

1. Manuscript Withdrawal

Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing their manuscripts after submission, particularly once the editorial assessment or peer-review process has commenced. A withdrawal request must be submitted formally in writing to the Editorial Team of Hata Poda Journal and must include a clear explanation of the reason for withdrawal.

Withdrawal requests will be evaluated by the Editorial Team on a case-by-case basis. Valid reasons may include serious errors in the manuscript, ethical concerns, authorship disputes, or other circumstances that reasonably justify withdrawal.

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to another journal while it remains under consideration by Hata Poda Journal. If withdrawal is requested, authors must wait for formal written confirmation from the Editorial Team before submitting the manuscript elsewhere.

2. Withdrawal Without a Valid Reason

Withdrawal without a reasonable explanation or without following the journal's formal withdrawal procedure may be considered a violation of publication ethics, particularly when it causes unnecessary disruption to the editorial and peer-review processes.

Depending on the circumstances and severity of the case, the Editorial Team may take appropriate action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies. Any action will be proportionate to the circumstances and communicated to the authors concerned.

3. Withdrawal After Acceptance or Publication

Authors are expected to honor their publication commitments once a manuscript has been accepted. Requests to withdraw an accepted manuscript will be considered only upon submission of a formal written request and an adequate explanation.

Once an article has been published, it cannot ordinarily be withdrawn simply at the author's request. Any request for removal, correction, or retraction will be handled in accordance with the journal's applicable publication ethics and correction and retraction policies.

4. Administrative Costs and Article Processing Charges

Where applicable, any administrative fees or Article Processing Charges (APCs) associated with manuscript withdrawal shall be governed by the journal's officially published fee policy.

Any non-refundable charges, withdrawal fees, or other financial obligations must be clearly disclosed to authors before submission or payment. No fee shall be imposed unless it has been formally established and communicated by the journal in advance.

5. Author Agreement

By submitting a manuscript to Hata Poda Journal, authors acknowledge that they are responsible for complying with the journal's submission requirements, publication ethics policies, and withdrawal procedures.

Authors are encouraged to contact the Editorial Team promptly if circumstances arise that may require manuscript withdrawal. The journal will consider such requests fairly and transparently while protecting the interests of authors, reviewers, editors, and the scholarly community.

Hata Poda Journal reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases of substantiated violations of publication ethics, in accordance with its established policies and applicable scholarly publishing standards.
