English Education: English Journal for Teaching and Learning (Print ISSN: 2338-8781 | Online ISSN: 2579-4043) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (June and December) by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Padangsidimpuan, Indonesia. This journal serves as a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to publish high-quality research articles and theoretical studies in the field of English language education. It is accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (SINTA 4), reflecting its commitment to academic quality and research integrity.
The journal welcomes original submissions covering a broad range of topics in English language teaching and applied linguistics. Areas of interest include English teaching methodology, structure and grammar, the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing), morphology, syntax, phonology, pronunciation, semantics and pragmatics, discourse analysis, language acquisition, translation, vocabulary studies, as well as interdisciplinary fields such as psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and literature reviews. Emphasizing both theoretical and pedagogical perspectives, the journal aims to bridge the gap between linguistic theory and teaching practice.
In line with international academic standards, English Education: English Journal for Teaching and Learning applies a rigorous peer-review process and adheres to best editorial practices. The journal aspires to be a credible platform for academic exchange, promoting innovative approaches and empirical research in English language education across both local and global contexts.
